The state of Texas froze over

 ...and I survived.  

I felt completely disconnected from the world, so on the second day of the snowstorm in Texas, I walked to a CVS pharmacy for a portable AM/FM radio.  

I planted bluebonnets in my backyard and have no idea if they will bloom this spring.  That remains to be seen.

After finishing my Ph.D. at Texas A&M University, I miss writing.  That's why I have decided to blog again.
